I believe the late half ton and early 3/4 ton differentials were the same, with late 3/4 ton being the same as the 6 x 6 units.
I believe that the 3/4 ton axle shaft boies got slightly thicker, but that all 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton shafts would interchange.
the book you need is the Zentemeyer publication on the power train interchanges - that'll tell you everything you'd ever need to know. Buy or borrow one. Not got mine here to confirm details though.
