I have confirmed that it is wired as Vaughn described. The only catch is that I can't tell which terminal is which on the ampmeter but I tried it both ways and bypassed the gauge altogether.
Still doesn't work. I still have 12.5 volts into the solenoid and when the key is turned, it sends 12.5 volts to the "S" terminal. When turning the key I get a surge up to 1 volt going to the starter and then it died down to nothing.
Problem seems to be isolated to the solenoid or the ignition switch.
Ideas???
