Just did some checking with the volt mater.
12.5 to the solenoid positive terminal, 12.5 to the amp meter, 12.5 from amp meter to ignition "BAT" terminal, 12.5 from "IGN" terminal on the ignition to the "S" terminal on solenoid (always live, even w/o turning ignition), 12.5 from "I" terminal on solenoid to "+" side of the coil (also always live) and 12.5 from "-" side of the coil to the distributor. Seems like the last time I checked it, "IGN" to "S" was only live when I turned the key... can't remember for sure.
I also have 12.5 into the ballast resistor and out of the ballast resistor - shouldn't it be less coming out???
