It happens here in Woodinville also. I needed 3 X 12 clear rough cut Douglas fir planks for my stairs (treads and stringers). I went to Chinook lumber and they cut had had them in my hands in 2 days. I stacked and dried them for 2 months and installed them. They were not very expensive.
