Thanks Paul. Maybe my 94 is worth over-hauling then. It uses the same fuel empty,22mpg. My biggest concerns are with the frame. REAL bad rust in all the critical areas. I figured maybe upgrading the trans with a heavier one. Should I consider the tranfer case as well? Transmission is automatic, I would like to keep it that way. I wouldn't consider switching to gas engine really. The miles I put on it would just not be feasible. The other note is would a goose neck be best, or would I be OK with a pinle hook? This is what we use on all the trucks at work, and they pull John Deere 350 dozers on tri axle, Eager Beaver trailers.
