I own a 2003 Ram 2500, HO Cummins, 6 Speed, 4.10 differentials, Jake Ebrake, Long Bed, Full Proportional Jordan Brake Controller. I pull my gooseneck with my Carryall with on and have a GCVW of 18,500 pounds. I would have rather had a 3500 single rear wheels but could not find any. With that said, My Ram is hardly working with my trucks on the Gooseneck. I can typically get in the 17.x mpg with interstate driving and keeping Speed below 65 mpg which is 2100 R's. Over 2100 R's my fuel consumption starts to climb quickly. Running unloaded, I constantly see 21.x mpg. I am very pleased. I have no idea how this would compare to a Equal Ram with a Gas'er.
