detroit diesel question

well i found step 1 in my quest to put a detroit diesel and a eaton fuller transmission in my m-43 but the detroit is a 3-71.. but is that too heavy? i think its 200lbs??? more then a 3-53. jw if it would work before i thought abt buying it.. just for the record i know how much better a cummins is but i want a detroit cuz its rarer in a pw and u cant beat the sound haha
