My most frequent comment is HUH? This was caused by several years of operating an Oliver 990 supercharged Detroit 3-53. In the morning, all I could hear was the exhaust note bellowing. At the end of the day, all I could hear was the supercharger screaming. That toasted by hearing pretty badly. This was before hearing protection was available, or it was even known that noise like that was so harmful. My opinion - you'll get to hating the sound of that 3-53 real soon.
