According to http://www.adieselengine.com/new_page_1.htm the 3-53 is 965# and the 3-71 is 1,525#, which is a whole lot of weight to produce only 113hp. Hmmmmmmmmm, maybe there is a reason they are rare in a FFPW ;-)
