I am building my own 120/240 VAC Single Phase 30 KW/1,800 RPM unit. I have the rebuilt 100 HP 6 cyl John Deer Engine and waiting for Generator Head to get here. Bought the Head off EBay for $689.00 plus $129.00 shipping. It weighs 450 lbs. Picked up the engine with everything needed(radiator, Fan Belt PTO, battry, altinator, exsaust, air filter, frame work ect) for $500.00 but will re/coup that when I sell the parts off the 1969 JD Combine later. Going to be a nice key start stand by system that will run the whole place with no problem. We have 4-1200W trouf heaters for the stock tanks, 1,200W heater for the pump house, 2 water heaters, 7 reffer units, and a bunch of outside lights ect to keep going during the winter. I was getting tired of switching things around with the 5KW one. Mark H.
