Here is one that attaches magnetically to the oil pan.

From the same supplier, there are dipsticks, radiator hose, and casting plug heaters.

If you have adequate anti-freeze, I wouldn't be too concerned with Virginia's rather mild winters. These products are generally used by folks who live in harsh climates, and who need to get to work every day reliably.
