Engine Heating Question

Greetings all.. With the cold weather comes th8is question..

I store my 54 FF in an unheated buildings. The temps here (Virginia) are not terrible, but can drop into the teens over night.

I've heard of oil dip sticks that have heater elelments attached. All you do is plug them into a cord and supposedly the engine stays warm. Anyone used one and if so, do they work?

Also heard of, but not seen engine blankets. Anyone know about them?

What are other methods used to keep the engines of your trucks above freezing (other than keeping then running all night)?
