One of the big problems in cold weather starting is that the oil thickens and slows the cranking speed. At a slow crank speed, starting is dificult. I agree with APB, probably not a problem where you live. Just be sure your anti freeze is protecting to the lowest temo you expect.
I have had great luck for many years using Mobil 1 Synthetic Oil. It does not thicken, thus crank speed is normal on cold mornings.
I have been on the road with no place to plug in my block heater. The temp was 15 below and with mobil 1 she cranked right over at normal speed.
