I was building a doubler. This would give me a couple of gear choises . I use the 2:1 ratio on a fairly frequent basis and would need the 4:1 for crawling over an avalanche field or some such . I need a bit of versatility. The only part of the 203 I planned on using was the range box .

I need to look deeper into this. I am willing to bet that some idiot engineer at Dodge decided to use 3 or 4 different 203 input shafts . Either that or it may be posible to use a shorter NV4500 tailshaft housing . I gather the chev is shorter than the Dodge .

At this point I am guessing and need to get a book on the NV4500.
