I used a Spicer 3 speed aux. trans behind the P-205 in my 1974 Chevy 1 ton 4x4. I can't remember the model number,it was years ago,but I still have the truck. The Spicer looks just like their aux for the diesel big rigs but smaller. It looks to scale for a 1 ton truck. Under-direct-overdrive. I bought it in a big rig wrecking yard,if I remember right it came out of a 1950's IHC 2 ton truck with a gas engine. It really drops the R's when I would shift into overdrive. But you must be in direct to lock the hubs! My old 1974 has 4.56 gearing. It's a two stick setup like a big rig.
