Have youchecked to see if you have the stock 5.83 gears in your diffs? maybe someon chnaged them to 4.89s. I go 50 to 55 when everything is warmed up. that keeps it under 3200 rpms. Sustained rpms above 3200 will shorten engine life. over 3200 the oil film on the bearings starts to go away. Seals are easy to change on the Tcase, would be easier before insatlling. I would change the crossmember.
