My Warns were as you describe yours to be. I stripped the hub and Glass Bead Blasted all exterior parts. The Black Part of the hub you see is PPG MP-180 Epoxy Primer and then coated with PPG Hardened Chassis Black leaving a Semi Gloss Finish. The Brass rotating control ring was also blasted, then with a artist brush I applied the PPG Epoxy and Chassis black in the areas you see highlighted in Black. I then put a drop of White Paint in the Free Position and a drop of Red Paint in the Lock Position. Then , with a piece of very fine sandpaper flat on a piece of glass, holding the brass control ring upside down on the sandpaper, I lightly removed any excess paint from filling in the letters etc. Then everything was clear coated with PPG Clear. I did the Carryall in the same way, and will probably have to do the M-37 likewise.
