this is a fallow up on the bad sale on the last fourm
I had my local sheriff run the vin# of the truck and it came back as nothing. Which ment it was not regesterd stolen and it hadn't been regesterd in the last seven years. I then tryed to call the sheriff in Moab and after four trys i got threw. He said that no case was ever filed becouse the owner was trying get them to just buy the truck back and he would not press charges. The sheriff didn't now any thing else about it. I got the number of the owner from him and called him up. He said that the arangments that he made with the two that stole it fell through and he was busy and let it slip. Then in the first of sept he filed a complant agenst the two that gose as follows.

Dear Deputy Neal,
This letter is in regard to the Dodge Power Wagon truck that was stolen from my property located at 2540 S. Highway 191 in Moab UT. A company by the name of CTB trucking was renting this property at the time the vehicle was stolen. The owners of this company were instructed that the power wagon was not to moved from it's location opn the property.On or about June 2003, the company moved out of the building.Befor thay vacated the premises, eye witnesses state that an employe of CTB, Billy Bob Shupe, had taken the power wagon. When confronted, Billy Bob denied taking the truck. After further investigation, eye witnesses confrimed that Billy Bob Shupe and his uncle,Dee Ferguson, had taken the truck to Nevada and sld it.
Deputy Sheriff Jim White of Nevada was contacted about the missing vehicle and he verified that the truck was there in Nevada. Deputy White was asked in the spring of 2004 to check if the vehicle was still in Nevada and he found that it had been sold to some one in Short Creek, AZ. We tracked down the vehicle in Short Creek and discovered that it was in the possession of Ephraim Nyborg. The truck was found with the motor removed.
I currently hold the title to this vehicle and would like it returned to me. Also,I would like to press charges against Billy Bob Shupe and Dee Ferguson for auto theft,the expenes occurred to locate the truck, and the monies Ephraim paid to Billy Bob for the truck.
