it also could be your return line is to small. The Saginaw box will not have the thru flow that the plow control does when wide open. I believe you have 2 problems.
First, check out the above suggestion
Second, I believe you have a lot of air/foam.
It took me over 2 hours to get all the air out of the carryall system, Power Steering, Hydroboost Brakes and MU-2 WInch Motor. The change in feel comes when air/foam hits the pump.
I was fighting a loosing battle with air/foam. So, I let all the foam go away (a few hours). Then I filled the PS Pump to the proper level, started the engine, ran the wheels to one side lock and immediatelly shut the engine off. Waited a while, refilled the PS Pump, and did it again. After a while, you could see that the system was filling as the level in the pump tank went down and very little foam was showing.
I finished it the next day. Not a problem since, just nice clear PS Oil.
The Air/foam bleeding instructions that came with the Hydroboost are identical to my above description of what I did.
