6 to 12 conversion

I have done a few 6 to 12 volt conversions, but always used a Delco one-wire alternator for the supply.

I have been thinking about converting my '54 PW but would want to use a 12-volt original Dodge PW generator and regulator to keep it original-looking. Are these available in rebuilt, serviceable condition?

Am I correct that I can use the same bracket, belt, harness, etc? I realize, of course, that the lamps and gauges would need to be worked over.

Any input from the gurus is appreciated.
