Slightly OT "Nasty E-mail"

I received a very unpleasant e-mail today. It came from a regular contributor of this forum. The jist of the message was , I should keep my mouth shut (metaphorically) about trucks for sale on auction sites. Because spreading the word makes it difficult for this individual to get a "good deal" .
First let me say that I will not be divulging the person's identity, in hopes that they will develop some common sense and reconsider their behavior.
Second I believe it is standard practice here to spread the word about available vehicles and related items. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
I'm not trying to stir up a hornets nest here but I thought the subject should be addressed in public, lest someone else be discouraged from posting a lead.
