Hi Bob,
I'm torn on the subject myself.
I appreciate knowing about vehicles for sale, some of the info from the seller is very interesting, funny and sometimes educational. I've scored photos of some very rare vehicles and added them to the DTA photo albums in the process. If I was in the market for a truck I'd appreciate the tip.
The other side of the coin is that I often think, "boy if someone is waiting for that obscure auction to close, they are sure going to be mad that the whole Power Wagon world now knows about it!"
So in a nut shell, notices for lookie loos are good, notices that spoil someones secret score is bad.
In that context, hardly no one who is actually buying will tip his competition off about a good buy, fearing that the price will get driven up or beyond his ability to bid.
Actual buyers are looking hard to find that "special deal" and some here are looking to buy low and re-sell here at a higher price.
So I guess it comes down to, yes I enjoy knowing about trucks for sale, but yes people who are trying to be helpful and informative are often messing up someones deal without realizing it.
Good topic, what does the rest of the Forum think about it?
