You are absolutely right about freedom. I certainly don't want anyone regulating or controlling what I choose to view.
By "anyone" I meant that this extends to children. You're also right about blocking, but I'm afraid there are always people out there who don't use blocking, or who don't properly supervise what their children are viewing.
