The engineers at Cummins are able to crank even more power HP/Torque with the new engine. At what point in HP/Torque will the Cummins become the killer of the other drive train parts ? I am sure that 'WE' dont have or know that answer, but even the NV-5600 has a limit of torque handling as does the stock clutch and the rest of the driveline. I wonder in the search for more power, and market share, if Dodge/Cummins will reap a nightmare in drive train failures, now or in future models? I guess I am glad that I bought the last HO in the 3rd generation 2003. A little less power, But I hope more
longevity....again an unknown. Just some thoughts I had while working today.
