Front Lockright lockers

Does anyone actually have Lockright lockers in their front differential and how do they work. Is the steering as bad as everyone says it is. I've seen a lot of opinions posted, mostly unfavorable for front lockers, but I don't recall anyone that actually has tried the setup. Accordiny to the lockrite website, they will still allow the differential to work but kicks in under load. I'm trying to make a decision about the lockers while I have the pumpkins open to change to 4.89 gears. This is on a 51 M37. Thanks,Alan Koester
