These folks you mention, who participate in our political institutions, some elected officials, members of the very institutions that make our country what it is and serve our country, these people are un-American?
Because their beliefs differ from yours? Then when you see me coming, you best start plucking chickens. The United States is made up of lots of people with different views on any given topic, but these differences don’t make them Un-American, they MAKE them American. What is UN-American is labeling someone who differs from you as UN-American.
You have taken a post about those who died, innocent victims of political extremists, and turned it into a political diatribe, pushing your personal political beliefs. You have made their lives fodder for a commercial.
How dare you? How many of the people who died on September 11th, would meet your definition of "anti-American"? How many of them would you have given the time of day to? Those buildings collapsed, killing Democrats and Republicans and probably a few Libertarians and more than likely a lot of folks who weren't even registered to vote or who hadn't voted in years. It made no difference to the millions of tons of concrete what they thought or believed. Whether they agreed with what you believe or not, they died.
While the original post was off topic - i.e. not related to Dodge trucks, and while I am as big an offender as any of posting off topic, there ARE forums on the web fro political discussions. I don't believe this is one. You certainly have no business hitching your wagon load of whatever it is you believe onto the deaths of people you never knew. You do know, don’t you, that there were fire fighters in New York who were registered Democrats? And probably a few police officers too. I’ll bet they even voted against George W., or whoever it is you endorsed in the last election. They might even be GAY! But we call them heroes and Americans anyway, regardless of what you think.
