Seriously, a young guy like you would go far compared to the idiots working in the parts stores up here. Most of them have no idea what a HEI is. All they want to know is "what make and year is it?" then they hem and haw over a parts book and ask "is it the wire from the distributor to the coil?" NO! HEI! NO COIL! Then just try to find a headlamp for a 1942 carryall. Talk about deer caught in the headlights look.
