WDX rear spring shackle removal

How do you get the rear shackles pins out? There doesn't seem to be any way to drive them out with a drift. There's a hole in the frame oposite the upper pin that doesn't line up with the pin to enable you to drive it out.

The lower pin seems to need to have the upper one done first, the springs dropped down and then the pin driven out. In it's attached location, the frame obstructes the pin as it does the upper one.

Any help????
