Just did my springs and got a lot of good advise here.
Go buy 6"lgx1/4" pipe thrd(buy 6 you will need them)and you will need a slide hammer and cheap pair of vise grips that you can weld onto the hammer.
You need to heat the perch up cheery hot with torches and when glowing HOT use slide hammer to pull them out.
I still have one that I could not get out but I ran out of Oxigan in tank.
