That is a great solution, Clint. Quite a bit of ingenuity involved.
I got stuck going up a forest service road with quite a grade in about 3' of snow. Couldn't back up, so I used a snatch block connected to a tree slightly to one side, drug the truck toward the snatch block. Then to another, then another, until I turned the truck 180°. Of course the snow pack under the fresh powder allowed the truck to pivot without any damage. Wouldn't recommend that procedure on dry a dry road.
