Thinking about it, I would keep the rear winch. I might mount it under the bed with an access panel. Why would I do that. 90% of the times you get stuck it is easier to pull yourself out the direction you came from. Pulling from the front will just get you in deeper. I personally would set it up so that the cable would come out the hole in the rear crossmember. You could also mount it in the bed by the cab and route the cable down through the floor and out the back with a couple of pulleys/rollers.
