Galvanizing a frame

Has anyone tried taking all attachments off a frame and having it hot dip galvanized?

We used to dip our trailer frames after fabricating them for high end customers, and the frames went thru a series of acid dips before the galvanizing dip itself. I bet it would work great, but would like to hear from anyone that tried it.
