W500 Specifications

I was looking over the Dodge truck manual from 1966 today and saw that the standard engine that came with the W500 trucks was a 225-2 slant six engine.

Has anyone here driven a W500 loaded close to capacity with the standard 225 slant six engine?

If so, how was that? I can see using a 318, which was the optional engine listed here, but I would think the 225 would be kinda small for such a large truck.

Just wondering. I may consider purchasing a W500 next time.
