Hi Matt, I think he was referring to the Canadian news. In Canada, we’re not remotely locked down. They’re asking for social distancing but the whole construction industry is still working at 100%. How does that work without spreading it? I mean on my job site, people are borrowing tools, I mean there’s 10 people inside a small house...it’s really no different than if I had a party at my house.
I’m not sure where the young people got their ideas from. You know I have one co worker who’s 30. His wife is a nurse & he’s saying the other day he’s not remotely concerned about the Virus. “It’s just another flu & I’m healthy” ??
Then another worker asked how his wife is faring. He says, “she’s fine. She’s not worried about this at all.”
Huh? My wife’s a nurse & I can tell you that nurses are extremely concerned. The hospital is totally locked down, no visitors & they’d all love to take a long leave of absence. The consensus among the hospital staff is this will not be over before mid Summer.
The one thing my friend in LA said that he doesn’t believe is truthful are the percentage numbers the government/medical people are sharing.
He said he knows 5 people in LA who have gotten it, 3 dead, 1 in a comma & 1 in the hospital that he hasn’t heard but that sounds considerably worse than the 2-3% mortality rate they had warned of. He also went on that the government has known about this since January. Not sure where he got that info nor do I care. It’s here now & so stay safe boys!
