I have been using synthetic oils in all my vehicles, tractors and mowers since 1980. Mostly Amsoil but buy other brands when I'm looking to save a bit or in my older vehicles. Have never had a leaking seal or gasket other than those that would have also leaked a conventional oil.
Synthetic oils are much better than conventional oils only problem is they cost more. My theory on that is oil is much cheaper than a rebuild.
