Lets see, not having owned one personally but going on everything I've heard and read (be it true or not),
If you have to ask about fuel economy ,you can't afford to drive it.
the V-10 is based on the 360 block configuration with two extra cylinders and it is considered an oversquare engine (bore is larger than the stroke?
if anything goes wrong with it, be ready to pay out the nose for parts and labor if it isn't still under warranty.
The cummins is better suited for hauling,MPG, and longevity. It doesn't have the rumble like the V-10,but to me, the diesel sounds more like a working machine than a hotrod.
