That sounds like the problem I’m having with my 2014 Dodge Journey with the 3.6 pentastar vvt engine. I’ve got 190,000 miles on it already though.
Mine will stall whithin 10 minutes after start up and I drive off and come to the first stop sign couple blocks from the house. It always tries to idle below 500rpm when it happens then it dies. All I do is shift into park hit the start botton again and it starts up and runs fine until next time.
It does not throw any lights or engine codes though.
