That's good to know. I can only imagine if the engine dies going down the interstate though, oh my gosh!

With mine, I've found if I leave it come up to normal operating temp, it's less likely to do it, if not at all. If I don't leave the engine warm completely first, it will always do it on that first or second stop I make after leaving the house.

What's so odd about it is it won't throw an engine code, it will always start back up and then I can drive it anywhere the rest of the day without it doing it again. But now that its got colder outside, it will do it later in the day, like when I leave work too.

There is so much thermal plastic parts on these new engines, its amazing! I had a oil leak on the thermoplastic oil cooler and had that changed. Maybe I need to change the throttle body next?
