Plus your wife and family are real good sports and have been (somewhere between tolerating and enjoying) you adventures. I bet the enjoyment scale goes way up when the breakdowns go way down. My wife has absolutely no interest in getting greasy/dirty or sitting in a bouncing vehicle for more than a Sunday drive to the pancake house. She enjoys the 56 Chevy but any long drive without air conditioning won't happen. It's all good, will give me some grand-kid alone time. She did help install the cardboard headliner and the extra hands were appreciated. I did not like the suggestions for a easier way to do it but kept my mouth shut.
