Julie is starting to get leery of the truck and its breakdowns. She's been putting together that we've been really lucky about where the machine has failed in that we've been able to get help. For example, what if the clutch decided to fail trying to cross the washouts on that mountain side? Talk about being hosed!
So now, when I suggest an adventure, she goes over the route. She thinks about cell coverage, imagines what a breakdown would entail, and is beginning to nix them.
Ignorance was bliss..
She's still up for adventures. As long as there's pretty good cell coverage along the way.
Hence the maintenance. The current plan is to keep on top of that. Forestall as many breakdowns as possible and hopefully, rebuild some confidence in the machine.
We'll see how it goes.
And I'm dying to know. What kind of suggestions your wife gave you on the headliner?
