No it appears that you did not wire it up correctly. The wire from the output of the amp meter needs to go to the “Bat Feed” post on the fuse block. This powers up the fuse block. You said you connected to to the Dash B+ terminal which is incorrect.

Take all of the 10 gauge jumpers that you added from the amp ga post to each component. This will bypass the fuse block by doing this.

The Dash B+ terminal is where you power all the dash instruments. All of them.

Run a wire from the “Ign SW B+” terminal to the power side of the ignition switch. This powers the ignition switch.

Run a wire from the accessory post of the ignition switch to the “IGN SW ACCY” terminal

Run a wire from the ignition switch coil terminal to the “IGN SW COIL” terminal. Then run a wire from the “COIL/DIST” terminal to the coil.

Then you need to connect up the headlights, brake light, and any other thing to the correct terminal on the fuse block as stated in the installation instructions for your fuse block. As I stated earlier the installation instructions from painless are very clear on what needs to go where. Read them follow them.
