Clint: I don't believe I've heard of anyone solving a Power Wagon overheating issue by fixing the ignition/timing... The thermostat is an inexpensive try, but I would not put money on that. When you first drained the coolant was the 1/8" NPT plug near the oil filter line plugged up? I opened mine up six years ago and nothing came out... These cooling systems are over designed as you know, they are meant to stay cool producing 50 HP at the rear PTO with no air flow across the radiator.

If the thermostat doesn't fix it, maybe you can borrow a refurbished radiator and put that in when you change the distribution tube and water pump?

Now about those U bolts on the springs... I got new U bolts made up for four bucks each when I had my springs re-arched, but I did end up putting back forged bolts just cause I think they are better. But.... I've yet to hear of any Power Wagon owner who has had an axle fall off or shift because they re-used a U bolt...

Are we going to be putting a new water tube in when I see you in a few weeks????!!!
