I have had the throttle speed up like that and the clutch pedal sometimes sticks on my WDX. As well, the starter rod becomes difficult to depress. This is when I am in an off-level situation, like you were, and trying to winch a log or a tree. I put new blocks in when I was getting the cab ready for paint. We did have to shim a little to make the doors, hood and fenders line up, but not excessively. My frame had been reinforced years ago by a previous owner who had a winch and an A-Frame in the back. I wonder if it does this because it is NOT flexing enough?
