You know, when the truck was in that position I looked at the linkage by the carb and was able to freely move it back and forth so it was not stuck. However with the cab out of position like that, it was probably not at idle when at rest. I didn't let the truck run long enough to see if the RPM's leveled out at some point, I was afraid it was going to blow up. That makes the most sense I think.
