Chris; I've got a grip on the inchandahalf, nozzle set to stream. The members of the union, otherwise known as the "rank and file", don't have a say when it comes to equipment. Politicians do. Union management causes ALL of their problems. The guys and gals who risk their lives on a daily basis have zero input. They can only go along with the BS so they can keep the jobs they volunteered for and live for. I was in law enforcement a few decades ago. The EMS services are perennial political footballs and leverage for the pols to keep their power.
