calling a T137 (and it's cousins) unreliable
what do you mean by aftermarket ignition ?
you need to buy some equipment to test components ie #1 Compression, #2 fuel pressure (if all you have is an electric fuel
pump then you will need a pressure regulator)
you might want to check with your local mechanics union office to see if there are any old retired mechanics you might get to help you get your rig fixed correctly.
