Of course, I should have considered that before making such an off colored comment. At least I know how to get everyone's attention... Wow!
The ignition is a simple, generic ignition switch - it doesn't fit in the original hole in the dash so I assume that it's aftermarket. It works fine.
I'll get a hold of those tools and check around for an old school mechanic.
