I don't think I've taken a position on what the government should do, except for the following:
Allow IRS Rule 179, to be implemented across the board, for ALL Americans, for ALL vehicle purchases and made retro-active to Sept. 1, 2008.
Roll back fuel economy standards to Jan 1973.
Roll back diesel engine emission regulations to March of 2006.
Allow drilling and exploration in Alaska, and the Continental Shelf.
Roll back vehicle crash standards to Jan. 1976.
Abolish the EPA and the Dept's of Health, Education and Welfare.
The health,education and welfare of all Americans has been worse since the government started "helping".
Rescind TARP and let the banks go under or be assimilated under a free market.
That's what government can do...
