Abolish the EPA?

While I may not agree with everything they do, do you truly understand what an unregulated environment looks like?

Back in the late 1890s some rivers in WI would regularly catch fire because of all the petroleum and other toxic chemicals that were in or on the water.

A total lack of rules for what can be done to the environment does not seem smart to me.

Do you want to return to the days when the sky was black, and everyone was coughing because their lungs were full of soot?

In some way there needs to be national rules on this stuff, otherwise some small town upstream will attract an industry that will dump enough stuff in the water to kill all the fish, and your children if they drink the water.

Maybe the EPA goes too far in some ways, maybe changes need to be made, but to abolish it completely seems a bit extreme.
