thanks i'll check it out, i didn't use sealer on the pump, just the gasket that came with it, CHRIS are you talking about the plug/spring/carter key on the oil pump, it make me wonder if i happened to get a bad/new one. one again thanks to you,and MIKE, and everyone else for all the help RATTLER
